"An architect's design process is all about synthesising the diverse needs of participants whilst solving a complex set of spatial problems. In this context, the development of ideas that then lead to unanticipated and transformative solutions, is what brings me the greatest joy in my work.  To lead a client and community of designers to a poetic outcome, that everyone believes in, is immeasurably rewarding."

Adam Russell is a registered Architect in NSW and Principal at Roberts Day. Adam holds a passion for critical practice and maintains continued focus on design excellence and high quality service. His architecture is highly regarded and has been recognised through numerous awards since 1999. Adam is also an honorary Associate of the School of Architecture at UTS and part-time design educator in the Masters of Architecture degree.

Adam has particular expertise in public buildings, urban design and fine-grain urban housing. Prior to Roberts Day Adam has held the positions of founding director at RAW Architects and director at DRAW (deManincor Russell Architecture Workshop).
