urban + place planner, NSW
I have always been drawn to observing how people interact with the buildings and places they live, work and play in. Understanding people's intuitive behaviour, culture, history, story and habits can transform the way you design a space. What makes my role both humbling and rewarding is the ability we have as urban designers and place planners to enhance the qualities of these places to promote physical, social and mental well-being.
Having worked for over 5 years in the industry, Cho has a cross-sectional background in Architecture, Urban design and Place making. Her experiences across commercial, mixed-use, public, education, residential and master planning projects at varying development scales allow her to approach projects from a holistic view; understanding the feasibility of projects through to the delivery of places and their built forms.
Cho is interested in promoting adaptable and resilient communities, promoting unique place cultures and stories to enhance the character of communities and projects that span across architectural, urban, and cultural, with a collaborative and socially conscious focus.
