urban designer, QLD
For me urban design is simply creating places where people love to go and stay... places that have character and authenticity, and are attractive, inclusive and cheerful... Throughout my journey as an architect, urban designer and watercolourist, I have embraced the combination of art and science and I believe in quality collective place-making.
Coming from a country with a long history in thoughtful architecture and urbanism, Iran, Yasaman was lucky to experience sense of place, creativity in design and precision in details through exploring great historic and contemporary buildings and public spaces. She obtained bachelor of architecture and master of urban design and worked as a graduate architect and urban designer in Iran. In 2014, Yasaman moved to Australia. She worked in a firm as an architectural designer for around two years and then joined RobertsDay in March 2017 to follow her passion for place-making and quality urban design.
